JET SIZES
David
I thought you might appreciate this info for your other H1 customers as I have spent the last few weeks playing with jetting to get my bike to run perfectly.
Its an H1E with your pipes and Unifilters.
Ivans Needles on middle notch
Ivans needle jets (this is crucial as the ones I got with the cheap kits make the bike run poorly)
112.5 main jets
40 pilots (standard is 30 and is too lean to get good low end performance with your pipes and pod filters)
1 ¾ air screw
This bike now runs beautifully at all rev rangesJ
CONTRARY TO POPULAR BELIEF, THE NUMBER ON A JET IS NOT THE DIAMETER, IT DENOTES THE NUMBER OF CC'S PER MINUTE THAT IT CAN FLOW. WHICH IS WHY YOU SHOULD NEVER TRY TO DRILL OUT A JET TO A DIFFERENT SIZE.
HERE IS A CHART WHICH SHOWS THE ACTUAL SIZE OF THE JET IN RELATION TO ITS NUMBER ,OR FLOW RATE.
